Hi there. Today we will both talk about IT and non-IT context of the BDS movement and why it matters.
The BDS movement is a collective that stands for boycotting of israeli global mega corporations and any other mega corporation that funds the efforts of the israeli crimes against humanity.
It matters not because every one of us is deeply worried about dying children in Gaza or West Bank, nor because we all are a fan of Palestine, but rather because we are human and are (hopefully) non-sadistic.
The cause at its core has nothing to do with “supporting a foreign country named Palestine because we are Palestinian nationalists” but rather “we support the Palestinian cause because no matter where it occurs, mass murder of children and carpet bombing civilians for literal ideological genocidal fanatical bullshit is beyond terrible”.
What does the Israeli and the global zionist movement do against humanity and then what do they do to achieve and sustain their seemingly unlimited power?
Here:
Mass murder of children consistently and over generations.
Creating a global elite to fund sadistic genocidal efforts.
Blackmailing every significant person to suppress their resistance.
Creating fake history and propaganda to muddy the water and confuse masses.
Utilizing social media and information technology overall to monitor masses and punish those who do not comply.
Destroying companies that do not comply or dont stay silent, by utilizing anti-BDS laws and other law enforcement and general trading/partnership measures.
Censorship of masses as a daily practice.
Creating complicated trade networks to hide who owns what.
Terrorizing the masses into submission.
And many many many more…
Proof?
All over the world wide web, hundreds of published books, government and historical public archives, israeli official and media sources, Palestine official sources, BDS movement sources, official UN sources, official ICC sources, Amnesty, hundreds of other NGOs sources, independent research efforts and thousands of approved university academic papers.
Evidence is everywhere. Only if you want to look at it.
There is “counter evidence” as well. Which, almost always lack credibility except for a few sold-out institutions approving fake evidence.
The ratio is so incredible, you have to me mentally ill to not see the picture.
So, what can YOU do?
Assuming you are not an evil clown,
You can boycott a group of companies to create the maximum possible impact.
I personally boycott a wide range of companies but to create the ultimate effect, there has to be a selected few that everyone agrees to boycott no matter what they already boycott or not.
For example McDonalds.
What did it do?
We all love a happy meal!
No.
Full of unhealthy ingredients, full of violations of its workers, full of literal crimes such as putting unapproved meat, creating monopolies, destroying small communities and competition, funding genocide explicitly and officially.
Not so “happy” afterall.
What about Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Intel, Oracle?
Extreme vendor-locking, mass-surveillance, violating privacy laws, violating competition laws, spying/espionage, child workers, funding genocide in Gaza and many more.
McDonalds, Starbucks, Burger King, Intel, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Dell, CAT, Mondelez, Addidas, Reebok, New Balance, Vercel/Next.js, Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp), and MANY more brands and companies are actively and willingly support criminal activities and crimes against humanity in Palestine.
Some support indirectly, some partially and some support fully.
They also love to sue people who express their findings on this regard.
Google and AWS have a spcial contract with Israeli to enhance their IT infrastructure. Millions and maybe billions of dollars…
Microsoft had to “cancel” (hope it is true…) their Azure support for Israel millitary.
Intel literally produces goods within Israel.
Meta is literally jewish-centric.
The clothing brands mentioned literally have strong ties with Israeli businesses.
The list goes on until everything you love to use is listed.
You can’t boycott ALL at once.
That’s why BDS advocates selected pressure points.
