I've been looking at the recent model releases and their abilities.
Too much to handle at once. Too fast, a lot of new updates.
Model capabilties moving so fast, I keep confusing versions.
At some point I will need a model just to track what the heck is going on.
This makes me think, are we the bottleneck? Probably. What happens when we let models to full autonomous R&D? What is there was a way to make sure they are safe?
Would it create abundance beyond our comprehension? Would it result in super powerful AI systems running 100% locally offline on small hardware? Can we do that at some point?
How? When?
These thoughts keep floating in an empty space in my memory.
I feel like we will get there in my lifetime. Probably very soon, around 5 years.
How will the economy, world, and human relationships transform?
