Yunus Emre Vurgun

Hey, I’m Yunus Emre Vurgun, but feel free to call me Yµn ^…^ ƒ(x). I’m a software developer and IT specialist based in Istanbul, Türkiye. I write code that helps industries work better and brings new ideas to life. My focus is on computational intelligence and operational technology. I’ve created projects like a scheduling system using PHP and JavaScript for a large industrial client, and Mr. Graphy, a Django app that visualizes graph data with Neo4j and Plotly.

I faced some challenges in school early on, but that pushed me to work harder. I took 400 pages of notes to master coding at Beykoz University, and I keep learning through courses from Google Cloud, Cisco, and more. On GitHub, I’ve shared over 100 repositories with tools like a KepServerEX REST API client and a macOS data-stream bundle to support other developers with automation.

I enjoy connecting with the tech community. Check out my YouTube videos on neural networks or my blog posts at the blog section of this site. The audience might be small, but I love inspiring curiosity. Outside of coding, I play guitar to unwind. I’ve visited 24 countries, from Tanzania to Boston, which shapes how I see my work.

In tech, I prioritize strong basics like algorithmic theory and the math behind computing. I steer clear of chasing trends and focus on building solutions that last and matter.
